On the “Java” tab click “View” to see your current version. 3. In the “View” dialog box ensure "Java is enabled" is checked. If is not enabled, check the box under “Enabled”. 4. In the “Update” tab we also recommend you to select “Check for Updates Automatically” to ensure your Java remains cur- rent. 5. After making the abovementioned changes to Java, you must QUIT your browser completely (not just close the window) and restart the browser for Java to work correctly with the new settings.
